How this is funded

Out of our own pockets. Hosting costs about eight dollars a month and the domain is fifteen dollars a year. That's the whole budget.

What we don't take

• No advertising. There is no ad space anywhere on this site and no arrangement with any advertising network.
• No affiliate links. Nothing on this site pays us a commission if you book through it. We link to places by name and let you find them.
• No paid placements. Nobody has paid to appear here, and several have asked.
• No comped meals or stays. We pay for what we write about.

Why this page exists

Because most travel sites are funded by exactly the things listed above, and readers are right to assume it unless told otherwise. If our funding ever changes, this page changes first and carries a date.

Affiliation

We are not connected to Tourism Calgary, the City of Calgary, any hotel group or any tour operator. We're two residents with a domain name.

Corrections

Email mail@calgaryplaystay.com. We fix the page and note what changed underneath it. We don't remove old versions silently.
